On 13-14 February the partners of the Erasmus+ #Pact4Youth project met in Athens (Greece) for the third partnership meeting to discuss the sectoral strategy for attracting young people to the construction sector.
During the two days, the eight partners of the European initiative, invited by U-Studies and Pedmede, discussed how best to get the attention of young people and explain to them the advantages of being part of the sector. Thus, the idea of creating a social media campaign that would show the daily life of a construction professional through video or their experiences was discussed.
In addition to these actions, the #Pact4Youth partners planned to organise masterclasses for young people in Spain, Italy, Greece and Cyprus, with the aim of showing them a sector with the possibility of professional growth, job security and modernisation. As well as these sessions, other masterclasses will be held to teach and show the advantages of the Dual VET system to construction SMEs.
