On December 17th, the Info-day of the European project “Pact4youth – Supporting the Pact for Skills. Foundations for youth employability in the construction sector” of which ANCE and Formedil are partners together with employers’ associations and training institutions from Cyprus, Greece and Spain.
During the event, which was attended by 35 people, including representatives of construction schools and bilateral bodies in the sector, professors and officials of the territorial offices of ANCE, the partners presented the activities carried out over the last two years.
In particular, after a general presentation of the Project and the ‘Pact for Skills in Construction‘, the participants were illustrated with the main objectives achieved by the consortium such as:
- the roadmap and action plan for the employability of young people in the construction sector;
- the Toolkit on apprenticeships for SMEs;
- the White Paper on guidance and counselling;
- the Masterclasses held on innovation for SMEs;
- practical training days/masterclasses aimed at increasing the attractiveness of the sector for young people.
Information was also provided on the communication campaign carried out on social media and on the videos recorded by trainers, workers, students and entrepreneurs to present the opportunities of the sector to young people.
The presentation ended with an invitation to participants, who recognised the relevance of the project and the activities carried out, to visit the project website to view the videos and documentation produced.
