Different territorial headquarters of Fundación Laboral de la Construcción hosted the masterclasses that were held in October. The main objective of these masterclasses, which were held in Huelva, Santander, Pamplona, Cordoba and Cadiz, was to bring the construction sector closer to young people and show them the numerous opportunities it offers.
The main topics discussed were the situation of the construction labour market, labour challenges, employment trends and the role of Fundación Laboral de la Construcción (FLC).
In addition, some important recommendations related to Health and Safety at Work were given to underline that occupational risk prevention measures are a priority for the construction sector.

The participants had the opportunity to learn about the main aspects and requirements that workers must follow in order to work safely and also learnt about a series of innovative tools (virtual and augmented reality) that are currently used by trainers in occupational risk prevention to train users by showing the real risks of a construction site, but in a more controlled environment.
Finally, the participants had the opportunity to visit the facilities of Fundación Laboral de la Construcción. They visited the classrooms where the theoretical subjects are taught and the spaces dedicated to practical work, which allow students to simulate the real work they will have to carry out on a real construction site.implement on a real construction site.
